As you can see even the box is pristine All the Brass is untarnished with the exception of the latch which has some very light tarnishing.
Now the story of how I forgot I had this set, years ago I converted a large double closet to serve as vinyl storage. My wife started to store her knitting stuff in the closet several years later. It had become her trademark to do hand made receiving blankets for new birth presents.
I purchased this set, opened it to ensure everything was as it should be, Placed the set in box and sealed it back up and stored it in the bottom of my closet.
Through the years, the box had gotten covered with her yarn and I forgot it was down there. When my now ex-wife (no not because of her knitting) took all her stuff out of the closet, guess what I found?
This is a no reserve auction-I will not ship it without insurance-insurance for $1000.00 is $11.40 . I have the insurance added as a handling charge. Use the shipping calculator!!!!!!!
