Description
Original owner of this 1982 Mobile Fidelity Box Set which includes
- 14 UK Albums mastered from the original tapes. Images of the tape boxes shown on each album sleeve.
- A booklet with the certificate of authenticity along with original album cover artwork. (Protective cover is stained but booklet is excellent).
- Mobile Fidelity Geo-Disc used for cartridge alignment.
- Rigid storage box with slots for above.
Known, back in the day, to those who frequented 'audio salons', Mobile Fidelity became know as a leader in reissuing a wide variety of original recordings using an exclusive remastering process to bring out the very best sound quality. Coupled with virgin vinyl and quality pressing techniques they brought to the listener a revelatory experience when coupled with good playback equipment. Today, these concepts are fairly commonplace but back in the 80's it was pretty much these guys. Certainly if you're viewing this listing you know that analog has a quality all it's own and this set is as remarkable to listen to today, as it was then.
Always treated with care on high-end transcription equipment (Linn-Sondek LP12/Koetsu). Disks are flat and clean. All original static free plastic sleeves and cardboard inner sleeves. Some minor cosmetic wear and tear on storage box from being around for 36 years.
