Description

The is an extremely rare, limited edition, numbered digitally remastered, Ultra High Quality Recording (UHQR) by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs, copy of Respighi's exciting Feste Romain. There is a certificate of Authenticity which shows the copy number 3826, which is also hand written on the album cover. The sonics of an UHQR are quite amazing, and they shine here in this issue of Respighi's Festivals or Rome and Pine of Rome. The Pines of Rome is especially amazing. Lorin Maazel conducts the Cleveland Orchestra for this sonic festival. The LP was originally released by Decca. The play list is:   Feste Romane     Circenses     Il Giubileo (The Jubilee)     L'Ottobrata (The October Festival)     La Befana (The Epiphany)   Pines Of Rome     I Pini Di Villa Borghese (The Pine Trees of the Villa Borghese)     I Pini Presso Una Catacomba (Pine Trees Near A Catacomb)     I Pini Del Giancolo (The Pine Trees of the Janiculum)     I Pini Della Via Appia (The Pine Trees of the Appian Way)   The outer box has a small bit of the paper loose around a corner where it would normally fold, I am pretty sure it came that way when I bought it. The LP and Album Cover are both near mint to near mint+. (The original foam padding is included in the box.) I got this LP new, and have played it only once or twice.
