Description

This is Pacific Jazz Records PJ-10, The Modest Jazz Trio Good Friday Blues, a black, deep groove label original mono issue of this classic guitar trio record featuring Jim Hall, Red Mitchell and Red Kelly. The record is in VG++ condition, showing discoloration on side 1 keeping it from being near mint. This does not effect the play which is quiet throughout this extremely quiet record. The autograph from Jim Hall is in marker on his back cover photo. The cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks.  The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this original mono recording with the extra bonus of Jim Hall's autograph. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders.
