Description
"Birds vs. Worms" and 1993-1994 recorded and 1997 released single by Modest Mouse. Very good condition, and played exactly once on a high quality stylus. "Every Penny Fed Car" and "Four Fingered Fisherman" on its B-side. The actual record is Near Mint, the rice paper cover is Excellent, the clear record sleeve shows edge wear on two sides (see photo with close up of postcard).
The auction includes the bright green postcard for the Hit or Miss mailing list which reads,
"hi, thanks for throwing your hard earned dollars down for the first Hit OR MISS release. if you would like, we can put you on our mailing list and let you know about upcoming releases. just fill in the lines, check your mailbox religiously everyday, and hopefully you'll hear from us . . . so you can get more great music and we can start paying off those loans."
From what I understand, Hit or Miss made only two pressings of this record. The first pressing featured a label with the bulls-eye at the center hole on 500 copies, the second pressing, also 500 copies, has the bulls-eye off center on the label. Both were printed on the same blue colored vinyls. Both feature the rice paper, hand printed cover.
