Description
This is a copy of the most desirable Afro-Cuban exotica LP ever released: Modesto Duran's FABULOUS RHYTHMS OF MODESTO. You think that Provocatif by John McFarland, Chaino's LPs or Safari with Sabu are rare... try finding this one. I've been collecting exotica LPs for fifteen years and have come across one copy of this LP. Look at this amazing cover! Music is just as amazing... the first track will blow you away. Rhythm section joined by: Mongo Santamaria, Armando Peraza, Francisco Aguabella, Carlos Vidal, Willie Bobo, Leo Acosta, Chico Guerrero and Juan Cheda This is an original, 1st pressing.
SLEEVE: Front cover is VG+ with the top and left seams neatly taped, however except for a 1" seam split on the lower left corner and a 1 cm split on the top left corner, I don't see why the tape was applied other than to prevent possible future splitting. There is a shorter piece of tape on the lower right edge, but again, I don't see why it was applied. Minor rubbing on top and bottom of front cover. The cover still presents wonderfully.
LABELS: NM first pressing RN5006
VINYL: VG+ and glossy with few light surface marks/paper scuffs. A very nice copy!
