Description

This is the one and only LP by Mogul Thrash, who included James Litherland (from Colosseum), John Wetton (pre- King Crimson, Family, Uriah Heep, Asia), Malcolm Duncan and Roger Ball (pre- Average White Band), and Michael Rosen (ex- Eclection). They were largely dismissed as a Chicago-style copy band at the time (1971), but they sounded significantly different thanks to James Litherland's dominant guitar work and the muscular bass style of John Wetton. The band were more popular in Europe than Britain and lasted only a short time. The LP was produced by Brian Auger who also contributed piano on one track. An underrated record.

Tracks are:
Side 1:

  1. Something Sad
  2. Elegy
  3. Dreams Of Glass And Sand
Side 2:
  1. Going North, Going West
  2. St. Peter
  3. What's This I Hear
Condition:  Vinyl is in VG+ condition, with very good shine, no scratches, no wear, some minor surface marks, and no spindle marks. It plays very well, with some minor clicks and surface noise especially on side A. This appears to be due to a splotchy appearance caused (I imagine) by the pressing process.

Sleeve is VG+. Some ring wear, a crease and a slightly worn spine. No tears or sticker marks.

Shipping in the USA will be USPS Media Mail, unless otherwise requested by the buyer. International shipping will be at cost and will vary according to the destination country.
