Up for sale is one (1) Mom's Apple Pie - Self Titled "ADVANCE REVIEWER COPY" PROMO LP with the orinigal Brown Bag Inner Sleever and the original Return Letter / Postcard. Released on Brown Bag Records (#BB-14200). Comes in a plain white sleeve with "ADVANCE REVIEWER COPY-CONFIDENTIAL" in bold on the front cover.
I don't know alot about this band, but they sound like the group Chicago.
INCLUDES THE INSANELY RARE 2 SIDED RETURN LETTER / POSTCARD / INSERT that was included in the advance copies for the DJ or Writers to return to the Record Company. THE WHOLE PACKAGE IS IN GREAT SHAPE.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition, but has some minor visual surface marks that may cause some surface noise and pops along the way. Even with a Very Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
I recently played this LP and it sounds AWESOME!
Nice clean labels. The return letter / postcard is in great shape. It was previously folded along the perforated lines that allows for 2 return postcards.
The die-cut cover is in very good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, dings, some seperation and ring wear.
The custom inner sleeve (made to resemble a brown bag) is in very good+ condition with typical wear from age, including but not limited to minor corner dings, crumples and ring wear. There is what may be a cut-out clip in the lower right corner of the inner sleeve ONLY. There are no split seams.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 35 years. It has been in storage ever since.
