Mom's Apple Pie is the notorious 1972 self titled debut from this large ensemble rock band on Brown Bag Records. This is the censored cover version, where the pie illustration by Nick Caruso was modified after the original pressing's provocative artwork drew controversy. The music itself is an energetic blend of brass driven rock featuring a ten piece lineup with saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, and multiple vocalists. Produced by Kenneth Hamann at Cleveland Recording Co., the album includes a powerful cover of I Just Wanna Make Love to You alongside originals like Mr. Skin! This cult classic is a sought after collectible regardless of cover variation.
