Monkees PROMO 45 & Picture Sleeve 1968 Daydream Believer, NM Vinyl!
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
Sleeve: VG. That doesn’t mean bloody ‘orribool. It means that the sleeve has light to moderate ringwear and record outdent, both sides. Colors are still beautiful and sharp. Sleeve has NO SPLITS.
Photos of the sleeve at an angle are to accentuate the flaws. Please look at them closely for better illustration of their conditions.
A Colgems Company sleeve will be provided to protect your picture sleeve during shipping.
Vinyl: NM/NM. Both sides are beautiful, bold and nearly unplayed-looking. Full 100% vinyl shine!
Labels: VG/NM. (To my knowledge, this was the only promo title pressed with white promo labels.)
Side One label has black Magic Marker writing. Also has sticker stain over the words, “PLUG SIDE.” (It makes me wonder, if a sticker was placed over that term, did the stations prefer to air the B-Side, “Goin’ Down?” I couldn’t blame them one iota if they did!)
Side Two label is NM.
Plates: A2/B2. Colgems promos were pressed in the US by RCA, and they retain all of the depth of sound quality of 1960’s RCA discs.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
