Aladdin had put out its share of great sides, and then you get recordings like the ones on this mega rare 45 that stand out. Jimmy Nolen, who sings as well as cuts through this blues with his smoking guitar chops, does more than his share of damage to this 45. Monte Easter may have been the band leader, but Jimmy Nolen shined on this release. It was originally released as a 78 in 1953, then later given its due 45 release in April of 1955.
