Description
VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'MONTEREY POP'
*UNPLAYED* 6-LP BOX SET
Just a few hundred of this beautiful & rare 6-disc set were pressed and released legally in Germany sometime in the early 1980's on the Document Records label: DR 021.
Each disc is housed in its individually designed colourful inner-sleeve which are all contained within a sturdy black box with 'gold' front lettering & rear track listing.
The set contains the following discs:
1. Jimi Hendrix on white vinyl
2. Jefferson Airplane on clear blue vinyl
3. Janis Joplin (1-5), Grateful Dead (6 & 7), Steve Miller Blues Band (8) & Canned Heat (9 & 10) on brown/green/red marbled vinyl.
4. Simon & Garfunkel (1-7), The Byrds (8-10) & Country Joe & The Fish (11-13) on pink vinyl.
5. The Animals (1-4), The Who (5-8) on clear yellow vinyl.
6. Paul Butterfield Blues Band (1-6), Buffalo Springfield (7-10), Electric Flag (11-13) on pale green clear vinyl.

Fully intact with just slight/normal storagewear to the rear but no major faults.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
