Description

In the late '70s/early '80s comedian Robert Klein hosted a series of radio shows that featured interviews, comedy routines, and live music.  This particular episode (10/14/79) featured interviews with Eric Idle & Michael Palin of Monty Python's Flying Circus, who were promoting their new "Life of Brian" movie; Mark Knopfler & Pick Withers of Dire Straits, talking about "Communique"; and JD Souther, who sings "White Rhythm & Blues" live.  Disks also include recordings of Python's "Spam" and the Eagles' "Heartache Tonight."

On Aug-20-09 at 18:49:49 PDT, seller added the following information:

I should also make it clear that "Spam" and "Heartache Tonight" are not performed live for this program but are the recorded versions, and that Dire Straits do not perform live music on this show.  FYI just to keep it clear.
