Moods/Garage Punk/R&B/OZ/HMV/66/Autographed.
The Moods debut (Feb 1966) 45 rpm release (Of only two) Cos’ Of You/Say Hello To Me. Both penned by Moods Guitarist John Livi. This now exceptionally hard to find OZ garage/ thumper is Auto-graphed by John Livi…And reads To Beatrice, lots of love, John Livi xxxxx.
Fifteen year old John Livi had a rare talent to compose moody lyrics spewing attitude and tough teenage angst. His lead guitar ability exuded potential well beyond his years.
Suffice to say, neither of The Moods singles sold well and are eagerly sought after 41 years on.
I picked the 45 up early 70’s and did not realise until now John had signed it.
Vinyl Grade VG+…..Strong/weak feeble/sleeve marks/nil deep.
Test Spin VG+/VG++………Tad static/three pops/Cos Of You side/very acceptable/plays no skips or jumps……nice.
Sticker residue/flip/Original HMV Paper Sleeve/tape front.
