Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!
As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability. Above all things I am a record collector and music lover. I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late. That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!
I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!

Here we have the VERY 1st press of the Moody Blues masterpiece Days of Future Passed
Days of Future Passed is the second album and first concept album by English prog rock band the Moody Blues, released in November 1967 by Deram Records. With its fusion of orchestral and rock elements, it has been cited as one of the first examples of progressive rock.
The album was recorded at a time when the Moody Blues were suffering financial difficulties and lack of critical and commercial success. Their parent label, Decca Records offered them a chance to record a stereo LP that combined their music with orchestral interludes. They decided to compose a suite of songs about the life of everyday man, with the group and orchestra mostly playing separately and mixed together. It was a moderate success upon release, but following steady radio airplay, particularly of the hit single "Nights in White Satin", it became a top ten US hit in 1972. It has since been listed among the most important albums of 1967 by Rolling Stone.
Many pressing were made of Days of Future Passed were released but only the very first have the following criteria:

To come across a very first pressing of Days of Future Passed is a chance happening but in this condition it is almost unheard of! The whole package is in stunning condition!

Sleeve Condition.
The 1st print front laminated sleeve is in really nice condition! There are no rips, writing or splits. The spine is perfectly straight with only very mild wear and is perfectly readable! There is some very mild storage wear and that’s about it. The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release! Utterly superb

Inner Condition.
The 1st press blue inner with is in great condition with no rips or tears, or folding! It looks almost as new!

Label Condition.
The 1st press matt labels are in fantastic condition. There are no rips, writing or stains to mention. There is no centre hole damage at all. Under a strong light, only 1 or 2 spider line can be seen! Perfect!

Vinyl Visual Condition.
The record looks great! It just looks brand new! It still retains its wonderful shine and lustre after all these years. There are no scratches, warping or dulling at all. When looking under a halogen, only the faintest of removals can be seen that you wouldn’t be surprised to find on a brand new vinyl!! This simply is the best example you will ever find!

Vinyl Audio Condition.
The record sounds superb on all frequencies! It’s a nice punchy and clear audio throughout! The band is clearly separable by the ear with a superb dynamic sound from start to finish! A sharp sound that just jumps off the record! It’s just simply amazing!
