TOTAL BANGER of a copy>>>> This orchestral and spoken world LP is incredibly hard to find playing clean. The very 1st pressing in Mono is, also, incredibly, hard to find - period. An amazing combination.  
An original 'mono' 1st press for the UK market. Stampers 1C/1M --- From the 1st few thousand copies...top level provenance. Don't underestimate the rarity angle here...this is really quite a hard find...for true mono 1st. I'll explain...Lots of copies are on-line ..but few will conform to Mono 1st press. It was not a huge seller and this title was intended to publicise the new Decca label 'DERAM' which was fully focused on the push to the Stereo format.. The heavy-set vinyl mono has unique attributes. The Decca deepgroove is apparent and text blurb is found on the southern perimeter. It comes housed in an original mono cover. Orginal inner. 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In really super condition having seen only light use. Super sheen... A couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback. Absolutely Superb! Orchestral passages...acoustic...spoken word....this title is a 10/10 for fussy...if you find a copy like this you are hitting staggering odds....?? Not far from perfect...
Cover (Vg+) Very smart sturdy cover with just a crease in top right corner. Shiny unworn front...rear is exhibiting some light ageing in places... Minor edge wear and firm openings. The spine is 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. WOW.
