Description
On offer here is a First Press Mono copy of In Search Of The Lost Chord by The Moody Blues, released on the Deram label in 1968, catalogue number DML 711.
The "Clarifoil" laminated gatefold sleeve made by Robert Stace is in superb shape, with no laminate creases or lifting, with a square spine rated Excellent Plus. The pure white inside of the gatefold looks like it has rarely seen the light of day and is as new.
The heavyweight Mono pressing is in almost equally great shape, with a glossy shine to both sides and a few small marks where the spindle has caught the record, but these are NOT scratches.
Rated Excellent.
The labels are the white and yellow Deram "DSS" which were the first used, and are in excellent condition.
The matrix numbers are ARL 8270 - 1W and ARL 8271 - 1W.
This album does not come up often in first pressing Mono, and especially not in this wonderful condition, a rare find and highly recommended for any collection.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailing envelope, made by Covers 33.
