The Moody Blues 'ON THE THRESHOLD OF A DREAM' UK Original Deram 'FLAT' label EARLIEST Stereo Pressing! *Superb EX copy!*
On offer here is a very Early pressing of the Moody Blues album from 1969 'On the Threshold of a Dream', it is often confused as what what exactly denotes a first pressing to this album as it was a time when the Decca record company was changing its label formats from the 'flat' ungrooved larger label type, to the 'raised' or 'grooved' type, which was to become the far more common type for this album as it was during manufacture that this change happened with only the earliest pressings bearing the older Decca format label, this one is complete with its original laminated booklet sleeve and is in superb condition.
Condition:
Side One/ Side Two: Beautiful looking vinyl, in normal light fantasticly clean and unmarked with a deep dark shine present looking unworn, under extremely bright angled light just some whispy baglines present, with superb audio- clear and powerful, the occasional odd bit of low level static, otherwise outstanding. Excellent.
Outer Sleeve: A fantastic example with the booklet still intact, just some minor corner shelf wear present, but otherwise looking clean, flat and square. Excellent.
Labels: Just a few light whispy trails to both but otherwise outstanding. Excellent Plus
Inner sleeve: A very near perfect example of the original polylined inner. Near Mint.
