Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of “Moondog” on the West 50th Street labels of Prestige PRLP 7042. The flat rim playing surface is in extraordinary condition, with just two inaudible hairlines at the end of Side B; high luster; perhaps played once; inaudible hazy patterns at the edges caused by storage in the original glassine inner sleeve. The laminated frame West 50th St. cover is bright and clean throughout, with three sharp corners and near perfect seams; ¼ ware on the bottom seam, at the opening; light discoloration on the right edge of the back slick.
