When asked to write the backliner for this album, I found it was not a task, but a pleasure, because the VOICES OF FAITH are not seeking to become entertainers, as many have become, but out of sincere dedication, coupled with a compelling desire to "Win Souls" by spreading the gospel through the ministry of song, is their common goal. Having been the pastor of the VOICES OF FAITH singing group for several years, it has been my privilege to watch this group in its growth from infancy to a well established singing group. Rev. Elwood Peters has been working with me for several years in the capacity of an associate, and he is also the Senior High Young People's Sunday School Teacher. Carolyn Peters organized and is the Director of a 45-voice choir of the FAITH TABERNACLE CHURCH. Brad Ingles not only composed 8 of these inspirational songs, but has proven himself to be faithful in our church and he is the Assistant Choir Director. Bernice Ingles is a blessing with her singing, as well as assisting her husband in their song writing. Another phase of her work with the Lord is working with the Junior Department of our Sunday School. It is my sincere wish, when you listen to the various selections of this album, you are thrilled and filled with the same "HOLY SPIRIT" that this group has been inspired by to write, sing, and is experiencing in their lives.
