Here is a very impressive pressing of this classic Aussie Surf Soundtrack featuring some very rare / progressive acid-rock tracks from legendary outfit " Tamam Shud " ( incorrectly listed as Taman Shud on the label..). To find one in as sweet as condition as this is simply brilliant and a real find for collectors of early Surf / Prog rock.
Tamam Shud was one of the most original and innovative Australian groups of the late 60s and early 70s. They played a very important part as pioneers of acid-rock and progressive music. For many years after they split they were something of a cult, and their original recordings were (and still are) very hard to obtain.
This 70's soundtrack has now become a cult LP of immeasurable standing and still sought after today both for the music and classic surf pic inner cover…

VINYL ~ Any half-decent pressing of this rarity is a pretty good find as it seldom turns up these days and gee… this one is thankfully a better than that. .
Despite a surface mark at the beginning of Side 2 it tracks along sweetly both sides without any flaws sound-wise. Glossy throughout and certainly not overly played … and no annoying background crackle, hiss or pops either ..rated EX and will not disappoint.

Labels ~ A previous owner's name is neatly penned on one side, the other label is clean.

JACKET ~ Most copies of this record I've come across ( which is not that many nowadays ) generally sees the cover a magnet for soil-marks and ring-wear of varying degrees. Fortunately that is not the case here and this jacket would most definitely rank amongst the better examples you could hope to find. No writing, creases, marks or splits and the spine is intact. Apart from the blank price-tag on the front and the faintest hint of ring-wear ( barely noticeable ) at the center-top of the rear cover it is virtually flawless … a real beauty !!
