The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

This auction is for one of the five Morrissey singles which were promoted in the UK in the 1990s by rather nice 'retro' style HMV 7" sleeve and record labels, whose design recalled the early HMV artwork of the 50s and 60s. This series of 'retro' 7" promotional singles were not issued in large numbers and, consequently, are not often seen available for sale. This record is an original promotional UK 7", rather than a 'bootleg' or similar re-pressing, which was intended to be sent to record stations and not for general sale; this is a rare opportunity to obtain an example of one of these collectable records.The vinyl and labels are in excellent condition, having been played just a few times and having only superficial marks on the vinyl in a few places which do not affect play. The thin paper outer sleeve is graded only very good due to one patch in the top right corner on the front of the sleeve, around two inches across, where the surface colour has been rubbed away from the sleeve (see photos, in which the patch is faintly visible). It appears that someone may have 'rubbed out' some pencil writing or similar, which has resulted in a 'whiter' patch as seen; other than this there is no seam-splitting and no significant creasing so that the sleeve remains very respectable in condition indeed. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
