Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

This UK/EU pressing is the only vinyl version of this album which was made available, and it is therefore very rare to find in this format. It is pressed on heavyweight glossy vinyl and very nicely packaged in its thick glossy outer gatefold sleeve with colour-photograph glossy inner sleeves featuring Morrissey and the band members. What makes this pressing even more interesting to collectors are the numerous errors in the names of the tracks which were printed on the reverse of the sleeve, the inner sleeves and the record labels; such as listing "The World Is Full Of Crashing Boars" instead of "...Bores" and the incorrect titling "First In The Gang To Die" instead of "First Of...", amongst others. Evidently the vinyl version was pressed in very low numbers as the mistakes were not corrected, and this is evident in the infrequency with which this album ever appears on the market in this vinyl format these days. This copy is particularly desirable in that both records appear unplayed and the sleeve has been stored carefully and preserved in very close to new condition.Both records appear to be unplayed and are in near mint condition, retaining their original glossy 'sheen' and having no significant surface marks at all. The glossy inner sleeves are also in near mint condition, with no splits or damage and no signs of wear at all. The impressive gatefold outer sleeve is in strong excellent condition with no marks or significant creases anywhere. The edges and spine are strong, sharp and unworn apart from the beginning of a seam-split in the centre of one of the upper edges, due to the weight of the record having been inside the sleeve, but the record has clearly not broken through the sleeve. The only other slight imperfection is the mildest of bumps to the upper corner at the mouth of the sleeve which is barely noticeable. It would be difficult to now find a better example of this rare double vinyl release. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
