Description

Rare 1983 original first edition of James Dean is Not Dead by a pre fame Morrissey.

Note this is not the second edition which was released during the Smiths lifetime and added the author's name. nor the 1993 reproduction.

This book is a love letter to Morrissey's icon James Dean featuring black and white pictures of the actor and text written by Morrissey.

Note that this copy is signed by the author on the inside cover. message reads, "To Colin, Ever, Morrissey."

Cover is VG+ condition veering on NM. Has sat protected from sun in a bookcase basically untouched for 15 years. Barely any marks to front cover, very very minor edge scuff. Spine undamaged. Very small rip in top right corner of back cover
