Pressing: Genuine UK Original Pressing with "DAMONT" etched in the runout matrix.

'Under the Influence' is a series of seven various artist compilations released by DMC UK from 2003 to 2005. The tracks for each album are chosen by an artist or band to show the music that has influenced their work. This LP is the first in the series and features Morrissey selecting his influencers and inspirations. This should be of interest to the Morrissey vinyl completists.

Owned by myself from new, purchased in 2003. This copy has been carefully stored in a smoke free environment.

Condition Details: Vinyl (EX): Graded conservatively, played only a couple times. Under bright light, the center labels show zero spindle marks. Vinyl surfaces are absolutely pristine with a brilliant factory shine.

Play-Graded Audio Report: Fully play-tested from start to finish on a high-end Linn LP12 system. Both LPs play phenomenally well with superb clarity and depth, completely free of any skips or loud pops. There is only the occasional, minor, non-intrusive ambient background noise between tracks typical of vinyl pressings. Being super critical, the last track of Side D has some crackling right at the end. This is a genuinely archive-quality copy.

Sleeve (Ex): Graded conservatively. The outer sleeve is still housed in its original factory shrink wrap (neatly slit open along the right edge to check contents). Because it has been protected by the shrink wrap from day one, the sleeve has no scuffs, and features sharp corners. Note I temporarily removed the sleeve/vinyls from the shrink wrap for the photos.
