The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

This auction is for a curious double vinyl LP, 'Under The Influence', which was released in 2003 and is not strictly a Morrissey LP, since it contains no Morrissey tracks, but is rather an interesting compilation of tracks chosen by Morrissey himself by artists who have influenced his music; as such it has been described as a 'Morrissey DJ set'. The playlist makes for fascinating listening, and there are many surprise choices in there. This is a double LP and is quite difficult to find on vinyl, suggesting that it was not pressed in high numbers. Of particular interest to collectors is the Morrissey sleeve artwork in which he is photographed in front of 'The Grave Maurice' from the same session that provided the sleeve artwork for the 'Sunny' single. This copy is exceptional in that both of the records remain in pristine unplayed condition and the sleeve is similarly as-new (see below).Both records for 'Under The Influence' are in near mint condition, having been carefully stored and never played. The outer sleeve is also in near mint condition, with only the very mildest of corner 'rubbing' in a few places which is barely visible. There is no writing or damage anywhere on the sleeve and the edges/spine are sharp and unworn. It would be difficult to find a copy of this double LP in a better-preserved condition. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
