All records are tested by personally listening to them, as well as visual inspection.

The lp record is in very good condition, with occasional surface noise, particularly on side one.  The cover jacket is in good condition, showing discoloration and splits on the bottom and the top.

Mort Sahl was the first comedian to receive a cover story on Time magazine, the first comedian to make an lp record and the first comedian to receive a Grammy(r) award.  Although this his first record was released in 1958, the album was recorded live in 1955 at the Sunset Auditorium in Carmel, California.   As illustrated by this record, Mr. Sahl gave a casual and improvised performance, making satirical comments on politics and society.
