Morton Feldman, The Viola in My Life, False Relationships and the Extended Ending, Rare 1971 Composers Recordings (CRI SD 276), with Karen Phillips, Viola. Feldman, the genius avant garde composer, pioneer of indeterminate music, composed Viola in my Life especially for Karen Phillips, who performs the composition with various instrumental combinations, utilized and arranged by Feldman. False Relationships employs exact time proportions and free time using two instrumental groups (piano, violin, trombone; two pianos, cellos, chimes). Amazing recording! Vinyl EX, shiny and clean. Labels EX, with slight blistering around center hole side A, property of Hartwick College Music Library stamped both sides. Jacket VG+, with some wear on spine and spine corners, 1 1/2 " tape bottom right front, property of Hartwick College Music Library stamped bottom front and back (does not obscure any original writing or graphics), 1/2"X 11/2" library tape(with #309)around top spine. Nice copy of a rare find!
