Description
Up for auction is a rare, out-of-print vinyl copy of Mother Love Bone "Apple" LP (Polydor Records, 1990). This band features members of what would become Pearl Jam (Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament) and was fronted by Andrew Wood who passed away in 1990 days before release of this record. It has the once familiar gold-stamping on the back sleeve denoting a label promo. Both the sleeve and vinyl are in nice condition rating a strong VG/VG. This is certainly an interesting release from Seattle's grunge era and Pearl Jam fans may enjoy this. The winning bidder agrees to pay within 3 days of auction end via PayPal only. I prefer to use USPS Media Mail for shipping because it is affordable and reliable albeit a bit slower to deliver. I use recycled cardboard record mailers and take the utmost care in safely packaging vinyl by taking the record out of its sleeve and adding a protective plastic sleeve.
For the curious: I received this promo when I was in college working as music director at a large university in the southern USA. This is a pretty good record, but pales in comparison to PJ's best work and I am hoping to find this record a good home in a fan's collection.
