When grunge took off in the early nineties, mainstream interest raised in a Seattle based band that had already ceased to exist but was very important in the formation process of Pearl Jam. Mother Love Bone was founded in 1988 by future Pearl Jam's guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament as an outlet for their Punk and Glam urges – citing Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin as their main influences.

The band's promising career was primarily cut short by the tragic death of vocalist Andrew Wood in 1990, after having released just one EP called Shine. More material from studio recordings with Wood was released as the Apple album. Riding Pearl Jam's band wagon in 1992, Mother Love Bone was released as a combination of both releases – holding itself together as a seminal album with two bonus tracks: "Capricorn Sister" and "Lady Godiva Blues".

  Orders usually ship within 2-7 business days. Please understand that it is impossible to keep all 100,000+ items (and multiple copies of those items) in stock at all times.   Please be patient. It is somewhere in our delivery path. Sometimes our emails get screened out. The bottom line is that 90% of all orders arrive within 10 days and 99% arrive within 3 weeks.

• What if my order is not complete when it arrives?
  Check your shipping confirmation e-mail to make sure the items weren't sent in multiple shipments. If they weren't, contact us and we we'll take care of it.
  
  
  
• What if one of my items is not available (out of print/stock)?
  Record companies take LP's cd's, and dvd's in and out of circulation all the time, without notice, to generate future demand. We have no control over this and it affects all media sellers. Therefore, we will refund the item(s) and the shipping charges and send the rest of your shipment.
