Description

Exceptionally rare  record from a psychedelic band from Canada's west coast, Mother Tucker's Yellow Duck ,Starting a New Day on the green Capitol label ST 6352. The cover as you can see is exceptional, still in its shrink wrap , would be NM but for the delete hole. In all other respects as clean as can be. The labels unmarked and clean, say NM. The heavy first press vinyl is also glossy and very clean; it would be NM in terms of cleanliness but it does have a couple of very light hairlines, probably caused by dust when being removed from sleeve, so say strong VG+. I just vpi cleaned it and am playing it now on my very light-tracking Rega-sounds very clean and crisp, even the quiet bits-it has just a few very light ticks here and there. Really is excellent; plays as it looks-I'd not heard it before.I doubt if you'll find better. Having listened to it all the way through, I think it is an exceptional record not only in terms of its condition but also the music. It sounded brilliant. And, given the last copy on ebay sold for nearly $200 and it cannot have been better than this in terms of condition, I am going to raise the starting price a little, because less than that I'll keep it. I'll never see a copy again-only found it as a complete fluke, muddled up with some soul records-very nice Wilson Picket-at a country auction. The prices I start at are fairly arbitrary and fairly low ( I think)  and in no way reflect what I hope to get.  The most economical number of records to ship to the US is 3  or more.

PLEASE NOTE THE SHIPPING IS NOT $4.00, NOT TO ANYWHERE. I AM SORRY-SHIPPING FROM CANADA IS A BIT MORE COSTLY.

Records will be mailed  at cost- I cannot ship for $4.00- (if you send that amount I will consider the deal cancelled and refund your money) assume the price of a record  is  $7.50 airmail in N. America, except for east and west coasts of Canada which will be a little more. International bidders please ask. I guarantee all my listings to be as described but am not responsible for the activities of the post office. I've lost almost nothing over the years-surface sometimes takes months so I only use it in rare cases. Canadian shipping will be by postcode NOT INTERNATIONAL RATES.

Important Note: Please Read. I am shipping from Canada although I've always used ebay's main US site. Canadian shipping rates are different from US rates-generally more expensive-however, the service is usually fast and safe. There is nothing  I can do about the cost. Please wait for an invoice as I do not know what shipping will be on some items. I put a fixed shipping price only because ebay forced me to-it is not right. This record will cost me C$8.55 to ship to most N. American addresses by airmail. I do know I will get it to you as inexpensively as possible. I never gouge people on shipping; fair shipping rates are something I always look for myself.

I want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you until you are. As you can see from my feedback, I enjoy using ebay; I am not a dealer, just a collector who generally sells and buys records. I treat others as I hope to be treated. Look at my feedback.
