The Mothers Of Invention "Absolutely Free" US MONO
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Verve V-5013 from 1967. This was their second album. It's the Mono version that did not sell well and is very hard to find today. All songs were written and arranged by Frank Zappa. This album has the classic Zappa songs : "Status Back Baby", "Brown Shoes Don't Make It", and "America Drinks & Goes Home". There is a minor cover variation on the record number on the front cover. Most covers show the record number as V/V6-5013. This has the record number in slightly larger print and it has an "X" after it : "V/V6-5013X". ( None of the covers of this album note if it's stereo or mono. ) This album also has the spine printing on the front cover about 1/2 inch from the bottom.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M
The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. It looks like I went back in time and just bought it ! The gatefold cover is near mint with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a Verve inner sleeve. The matrix numbers are : Side 1 : V5013 side 1 MG672 and Side 2 : V-5013 side 2 MG673.
The songs are : Plastic People, The Duke Of Prunes, Amnesia Vivage, The Duke Regains His Chops, Call Any Vegetable, Invocation & Ritual Dance Of The Young Pumpkin, Soft-sell Conclusion & Ending Of Side #1, America Drinks, Status Back Baby, Uncle Bernie's Farm, Son Of Suzy Creamcheese, Brown Shoes Don't Make It, and American Drinks & Goes Home.

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch cardboard (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again. Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship. You can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or First Class Mail International for overseas. I will remove the record from the cover when I mail it. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. And I will let you know when I receive your payment and when I have mailed your record. This record is from a no smoking, no pets home. Insurance is optional for US buyers.
