Mothers Of Invention - Uncle Meat - UK 1969 Transatlantic TRA 197 - 2LP - Good Plus (G+) condition.

This is an original UK copy of The Mother's eccentric and highly inventive 1969 album Uncle Meat.
A double album in nice condition overall.
In general the vinyl has minor marks and scuffs and plays very well - it has some hardly noticeable, very slight surface noise here and there but probably nothing that an expert clean wouldn't resolve - HOWEVER there is a scratch at the beginning of the third side (please see photo with the scratch ringed) and this produces regular clicks throughout the first half of the first track 'Mr Green Genes'.
The cover is in very nice condition with scuff marks and slight wear to the edges and corners.
The labels are clean with minimal spindle wear.
All in all a nice copy of a very collectable album.

All records carefully cleaned with soft brushes and cloths and play tested on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 deck through a Cambridge A2 amp and Gale monitor speakers. As always a professional clean would probably enhance the vinyl.
