I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME, but you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
Up for sale is one (1) Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil LP from 1983 on Elektra Records (#60289-1).THIS IS THE FIRST PRESSING WITH THE PENTAGRAM COVER. The Pentagram was removed for later versions.
Includes the ORIGINAL LYRIC SLEEVE and THE ORIGINAL MERCHANDISE ORDER FORM!
Features the INCREDIBLE BAND of Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee & Mick Mars.
Has STERLING stamped in deadwax on both sides.
This LP is getting harder to find as LPs were being phased out for CDs in the 1980s.
The cover is in Very Good condition (especially for this cover), but has typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, dings, scrapes, peeling, fading, and ring wear. There are no split seams.This cover typically does not age well but this one is in Very Good shape.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition with surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The custom inner sleeve is in Very Good condition, but has typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, dings, scrapes, small tears, and ring wear. There is a very small split seam coupled with a small tear on 1 side and there is a medium sized split seam on the bottom.(please see pics).
The Original Merchandise Order Form is in Very Good condition, but has typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, dings, scrapes, etc... There is some staining of an unknown origin that is noticeable on the back side of the form.(please see pics).
