From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this hard rockin’ US classic, a Holy Grail of collectors. Motley Crue. Stick To Your Guns / Toast Of The Town. US pressing. 1981. Leather Records (printed as Leather Records on the record label). MC 001. The Holy Grail for Motley Crue collectors. Record is Very Good Plus on Side A, some very minor scuffs and scratches. Side B is Good Plus with similar minor scratches and what appears to be a major scratch which doesn’t affect play. Cover in Very Good condition is discolouration (a splash of red wine??) across the top of the front cover. SHIPPING: In these COVID times, there have been problems with international shipping from Australia beyond slow, or no, air mail. I’ve had a parcel to the UK damaged and another that was diverted from air mail to sea mail and, three months later, appears no closer to reaching Europe. Until things improve, I’m shifting to Express Air Mail. More expensive but if you’re bidding for a record you want to enhance the probability of getting it in good order. The other option is for Standard Air Mail but buyer pays for full insurance and the correct value of the record is noted on the customs form, which some buyers have been reluctant to do in the past.
