Yes - this is the real deal

This is a SEALED copy of a 3rd PRESSING of Motley Crue's "Too Fast For Love" - pressed on  Motley's own self-produced and released - Leathur Records

The jacket is in excellent condition. The only flaw is that the bottom right corner is cut. Aside from that, it is in excellent condition. The Vinyl has NEVER been played and is in MINT condition. It is still so glossy, you can see me in the reflection taking the picture.

A few years ago, Alan Coffman's (the Crue's first manager) wife was selling off the remainder of the Leathur LPs that were in his estate on eBay, and I spent my entire savings buying as many as I could of "Too Fast for Love" in all 3 pressings as well as the 7"  " Toast of the Town/Stick To Your Guns " single, that were all pressed on Motley's own self produced "Leathur Records"

According to most sources the 1st pressing of TFFL on Leathur Records only pressed between 900 and 2000 copies - depending on which source you believe.

I tried to find an exact number for the 2nd and 3rd pressings in number of prints, I used to find a website that had the numbers - but couldn't find it - but - not too many I know that. I'm guessing the 2nd pressing is somewhere between 2000 and 5000 - somewhere in there... not sure about the 3rd - but I think it's about the same.

The first pressing is one of the Rarest Metal albums to have, and aside from the 7" "Toast/Guns" single - which was the first vinyl the Crue ever recorded and pressed and released to the public - the second pressing would be #3 behind the 7" and the first pressing in the most valuable and rare Crue LPs.

Basically, the 3rd pressing would be for thiose interested in having an original pressing of the Crue's Leathur Records version of TFFL - but don't want to shell out the bread for either the first or second pressing -

OR - you have the others and want to have all three pressings.....I can relate....

I have three copies of all 3 pressings. I am listing one copy of each pressing. I would only be interested in selling one of the other copies per pressing if I am presented with a decent offer. I'm not expecting the moon, but I'm not stupid either - FYI.

Normally, I would NEVER sell any of my Leathur albums - I was only planning on selling off some of my Vinyl Extras - to buy some things for my wife and 3 year old, and the house we live in -- but as fate would have it - I live in Lake County CA - and for those who watch the National News, California is on Fire - and my back yard (literally speaking) has been burnt down, and now we are needing to move....

So - as it turns out I am selling my "extra" copies of my Leathur Records collection as well

Note - I have copies of ALL THREE PRESSINGS. I have SEALED copies of both the 1st and 2nd pressing, and Excellent copies of the 3rd pressing; I am listing copies of pressings 1, 2, and 3 -  but I WILL NOT sell my "Toast/Guns" 45s - so don't ask.

I also have some L.A. and San Francisco based "funk metal" and similar genre. (Jane's Addiction, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mordred, Fishbone, 24-7 Spyz [even tho they are from NY], Love/Hate and the like)

And also I have a lot of "Seattle Grunge" bands from the late 80's early 90's (Melvins, Tad, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green River, Mother Love Bone, Gruntruck, Screaming Trees....etc)

I have LP's 12" Singles, 45s, Imports, Picture Discs, SHAPED Picture Discs, Live Bootlegs.....everything

And for the most part, everything I have is either very very good jacket with near mint vinyl or Near Mint Jacket with NEVER PLAYED Vinyl....which is actually the condition of the majority of the Vinyl I am selling.

If you buy an album from me, please don't expect it to be shipped of the next day. I am sending them off in bulk shipments, because I cannot run back and forth to the post every day - so please - be patient ...
