Description

An original 1st press of OK on UK Bronze - their first album on Bronze. Matrix A2/B1 - 1st cut. Etching Lyre Symbol - mastering by Utopia. Stampers 1H/1H - one of the very 1st copies to enter the market. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the date of release being Feb 1979. There's also the original inner sleeve - date coding Nov1978. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) Very well preserved and has only seen very slight use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovey quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. I'm struggling to pick out anything detrimental really. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots..e.g. opening seconds of OK...then MH are blasting it and it evaporates quickly. Clean signal and excellent reproduction. You might think that all copies are ok to purchase..[Nope!]....but think about it...Motorhead liked their music LOUD...and so these copies need to be able to go all the way to ELEVEN. And only a clean feeder can be amped up to max and sound clean as a whistle.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition with very well preserved surfaces. Minimal edge wear and looks smart. Firm openings. Text on the spine is all legible. Overall the cover retains verygood rigidity.
Inner (Ex-)  No ageing. Slightest bottom edge split.
