Description
Rare UK original Stiff Records (BUY9) 7" of Motörhead's cover of Leaving Here, b/w White Line Fever.
There are two issues on Stiff and this is the first. Information on Discogs displays a release date of October 1978, the second being 1979. I have noted differences between the two.
The 7" was part of the Stiff Records box of their first 10 singles. Some copies of the Issue 1 box were split and sold separately. It is thought that 5000 copies were pressed/issued.
The year 1977 is printed underneath Motorhead on the White Line Fever label. The second issue has 1977 printed underneath the catalogue number BUY9 along the centre-right of the label.
The solid centre record is in excellent condition and only played a handful of times. No spindle marks. There is very mild crackle here n' there and would benefit from a professional clean. Sounds flippin' great loud!

The cover, also excellent has no major issues. Very slight ringwear - around the top half of the picture - on the right. Crisp corners and no damage to the flipbacks on the other side. The opening for the record on the flipside is rectangular. Issue 2 has a rounded opening.
All-in-all an incredibly nice copy of a rare 45 that's 40 years old.
