Very good vinyl condition of 5 great Rock and Roll albums from

the 1970s icons Mott The Hoople and their later band Mott.

The first LP of this bunch is the rare 1971 ‘Brain Capers’ which

was their fourth album and displayed their heavier style with eight

songs that include “Death May Be Your Santa Claus”, “Sweet Angeline”,

“The Moon Upstairs” and “The Wheel of the Quivering Meat Conception”.

The second selection is the 1973 ‘Mott’ album which produced classic

Mott songs like “All The Way From Memphis”, “Honaloochie Boogie”,

“Drivin’ Sister” and “I Wish I Was Your Mother”.

The third LP is the 1974 ‘Mott The Hoople Live’ which is a truly great

live representation of this terrific rockin’ band. Recorded at the Hammersmith

in London and The Uris theater on Broadway in New York at the height of

the bands zenith preforming classic tracks like ‘All The Young Dudes’,

‘Rock And Roll Queen’, ‘Sucker’ and ‘Jerkin Crocus’.

The fourth album is the first of the bands new line up when they went under

the name Mott, this was their 1975 ‘Drive On’ LP, with songs like “By Tonight”,

“Stiff Upper Lip” and “I Can Show You How It Is”.

The last selection is the 1976 ‘Shouting and Pointing’ the second and final

album by the group with nine amazing tracks including “Shouting and Pointing”,

“Career (No Such Thing as Rock ‘n’ Roll)”, “Broadside Outcasts” and “Good Times”

to name a few.

A truly rare find of 5 classic album from a truly brilliant band.
