Description

An original 1st press from 1972 on USA CBS label. The vinyl comes housed in a heavy-card textured cover. Also included is the original generic inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could make out a couple of light marks per side, and a couple of superficial trails, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Very nice clean player. Not perfect, but very accomplished. I detected a bit of background in a couple of tracks 'All The Young Dudes' & 'Sucker'. Nothing invasive just low-level type stuff. Other than that expect a clean and impressive rendition. Not much to dislike here..
Cover (Ex+) Wow, it's not often that you find a USA cover looking this well preserved. I mean it really looks 'like new'. Front and back are clean and flat with no fading or wear apparent at all. There's no edge wear at all and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Aged, but no splits.
