Mott’s Men/Comin’ Or Goin’ b/w She Is So Mean/Loren (St. Johnsbury, Vermont) No. 1005 (circa 1966?). 45 in white sleeve with original sleeve header, as shown. Garage rock.

This is one of those holy grail records of private label, limited run garage band rock 45s, from a group of college students from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont during the mid-1960s. There were 1,000 of these made about 40 years ago, and they come up for sale very rarely.

This copy has the original sleeve header, as well, which I have NEVER seen up for sale. It has separated from the white sleeve, but the staples are still intact, the staple holes are visible in the original white sleeve, and the condition of the header is VG+.

VG+ (record) Record has ultra light wear and plays well with light, occasional noise, play-graded all the way through on BOTH sides. Sound samples of both sides provided-LISTEN! Record does have some spotting from storage, but the play quality is outstanding. Labels are exceptionally clean, as shown.

This record was pressed by a private, small pressing plant, and none of these originals, regardless of how clean, plays flawlessly. Given that, this copy, while not near mint, has limited wear. If you’ve been wanting this record, you could wait a very long time for another one anywhere near this condition.
