Description

A rare opportunity to aquire this stunning Don Giovanni performed by the Vienna Philharmonic under Josef Krips with an outstanding cast. The records are Wide Band Grooved ED1 in the original cream box.

I would describe the four records and the box to be in very good condition. The box has some supperficial marks and a 1cm split (which can hardly be seen) on the bottom right of the case, but is tight and strong otherwise. The records themselves still sound remarkably good; the recording is full vintage Decca. The reason I do not describe them as Near Mint is because there is some occasional very light surface noise and 'pop' and 'tick'. This appears to be random and there are no suspicious surface marks. The records come with the original Decca inner sleeves and synopsis - judging by the size of the box no libretto could have been included.

Serious collectors will know how desirable this box set is and a better copy would have to be genuinely Near Mint or unplayed. Good Luck
