Description
For sale is a collection of 7 volumes from the Philips “Mozart Edition” — the classic 1970s deluxe LP box set series dedicated to the complete works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, originally issued as a 16-volume, 148-LP encyclopedic edition, sold by subscription in individually numbered “Folge” (volume) boxes.
Each volume is a hardbound, cloth-covered box with gold lettering, featuring period Mozart portraits on the front, and includes the vinyl LPs (in original Philips inner sleeves), plus printed booklets/inserts with full track listings, performer credits, and liner notes in German, English, and French.

• Vinyl pressed in Holland (Philips Stereo, 33⅓ RPM), dating from 1969–1973, prized among audiophiles and classical collectors for excellent pressing quality
• Performers include renowned ensembles/soloists such as the Dresdner Philharmonie, Netherlands Wind Ensemble, and conductors including Günther Herbig, Colin Davis, and others
• Records appear visually clean and glossy in the photos, stored in original paper inner sleeves
• Boxes show typical light shelf wear from age (corners, edges) — please review photos carefully for condition assessment
