Mozart Symphony 41 Haydn Karajan UK Decca SXL 6067
Herbert von Karajan conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Mozart’s “Symphony No. 41” and Haydn’s “Symphony No. 103. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 6067 Stampers 2E/1E), the labels are black with silver lettering, full frequency stereophonic Sound fatband and logo, Original Recording by… at 10 o’clock and a groove. The record has some minor scuffs and small marks which do not appear to sound, and is otherwise of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with creases in the laminate, and a name has been blacked out with pen at the top on the back with a smaller name in pen at the bottom.
