Mozart Violin Sonatas Kagaan Richter UK HMV SLS
Oleg Kagaan and Sviatoslav Richter perform three Mozart “Violin Sonatas K. 396, 378 and 379” and also the “unfinished” “Sonata K. 372” and the “Andante and Allegretto”, K. 404. The recording dates from 1974 and was taken from performances during the “Fetes Musicales des Touraine”. A two record set, this is a stereo pressing on the HMV Label (SLS 5020). The labels are red with white border and grey postage stamp logo. The records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with a fairly continuous low-level of surface noise. The box has some wear to the bottom right-hand corner and is otherwise in excellent condition, as are the notes.
