Description

This is a brand new, unopened Sheffield Lab Direct-To-Disk LP of Mozart’s Serenade No. 11 and Grieg’s Four Lyric Pieces, performed by the Chicago Symphony Winds.  I purchased this album new as a backup in case my original copy ever got damaged.  Since my original still plays beautifully, I'm putting this SEALED LP up for sale.  It has always been stored vertically with all my other SEALED audiophile albums so it has basically never been taken out of my collection.  This is an absolutely stunning performance with a sound quality which is truly unbelievable.  I doubt there is another LP out there that reproduces a wind octet with such detail and sonic smoothness.  You hear all the nuances of the instruments as if you are in the recording studio.  Listening to this album reminds me of the performances at the Mostly Mozart Festival, a yearly event at Lincoln Center in NYC.  This is just one of a number of SEALED Sheffield Lab direct-to-disks that I am putting up for auction -- keep a look out!
