Mötley Crüe - Too Fast For Love - Vinyl LP & Bonus 7"
What you are about to bid on is the ORIGINAL 1981 LEATHÜR RECORDS MIX of Mötley Crüe's first album and single.
This was reissued in a limited run in 2005 by Mötley Records via Hip-O-Select and is about as scarce as the original and sounds jaw droppingly good.
I bought it solely for the coolness value (I'd probably put this album up in my all time top ten) and consequently the cover has been impeccably held in a frame for years with the contents in another LP sleeve. The LP has been played very little (about 3 times max) and the bonus 7" replica of Mötley Crüe's first single has never been near a turntable. It's as close as you will get to buying a new copy without being wrapped in cellophane.
As collectors repressings go they got the details right here (the colour version of the lettering, the glasses are back in situ on the rear cover, the labels are right even down to Coffman & Coffman's mis-spelling of the independent label on the centre ring of the 7" and the umlauts over Love on the LP labels). It's a beauty.
Sound wise you already know this version destroys the Elektra version,it's no secret. The Leathür mix is the stuff of legend.
