Description

Muddy Waters - At Newport 1966 pressing Chess 1449 original mono M- in excellent condition. Cover has small clipped right hand corner---even though there is a "electronically altered for stereo" sticker on the front cover---this is a MONO edition and can bee seen by the designation "LP-1449" on label (see photo) otherwise if it were stereo the designation would be "LPS-1449. I played this record with headphones and it is definitely mono. Small blemish to the right of the  "electronically altered for stereo" sticker on the front cover. Disc is M---has some discoloration on bands 3 & 4 on side one but this is not a scuff and plays with no noise. Bought this as a sealed cut-out and it's been kept in my collection for decades with inner and outer protective plastic sleeves and played very little.  Tom Principato
