Description
This is an original US second pressing of the 1964 Muddy Waters "Folk Singer" LP on the Chesss Black label #LP 1483 in excellent Mono sound. The heavy vinyl is rated VG but it plays VG+ with some crackling. There is a long surface scratch on side 1 that is not deep and does not cause any sustained crackling. I have play tested the entire album and it plays fine with no distortion. The Chess black labels with the knight chess piece logo are in excellent condition with one wrinkle on side 2. This is a great album that features Buddy Guy and Willie Dixon playing with Muddy. The cover is rated VG+ to EX with some ring wear and wrinkles and some age spots at the bottom on the back cover. All seams are intact with no splits or fraying. This is a very famous rare blues album that anybody would be proud to have in their collection.
