Description

Muddy Waters, "Folk Singer" (Chess Records CH-9261) GREAT 1987 reissue of a classic 1964 Muddy Waters LP, with sidemen Buddy Guy, Willie Dixon, and Clifton James. The cool cover is VG++, with a 2-inch gold-embossed "Promotional" stamp on the back side, over the bar code. The vinyl is Mint-minus. I only give a mint grade to sealed items, but this wax is squeaky clean, and looks to be unplayed. Strict grading. Timeless stuff, downhome Mississippi blues flourishing in the big city of Chicago. Stripped down and acoustic, with several tracks being duets by Muddy & Buddy, and one cut that's just Muddy solo. Deep!
